Inspired

I am reading a book that has inspired me to knit a Fair Isle sweater. I am on the hunt for the right project. Maybe I should design my own, hmmmm. An interesting idea. My mom gave me some money for my birthday. I want to purchase some software for designing sweaters. I will have to give this some thought. In the mean time, I need to look at some sweater books. Library website, here I come.

Spring Fever

Today I took some time to plant some tomato starts as well as some basil, chives, pole beans and pole peas. I'm looking forward to spring. I love the snow but I am ready to move on. I did take the plunge and cast on a cardigan sweater which will suit the cool spring days here.
